We want you to love your purchase from JBD and understand that sometimes what you ordered may not be quite right! All jewelry except for custom ordered items (including items which a specific stone was chosen just for your piece) or items on sale are eligible for an exchange under the following guidelines. Returns are accepted for an exchange or credit within 14 days of receiving item. Jewelry must be returned in new condition (unworn), in its original box with padding and accompanied by your receipt. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Sorry no refunds will be granted for returned items under any circumstances. Custom ordered items or items purchased during a sale may not be returned for an exchange. Please contact the studio for approval of your return via email to


All orders placed directly from the website(custom orders excluded) are shipped with free shipping within 7-14 days from the order date. Your package will be sent First Class USPS Mail and will arrive within 2-3 days from the time it is shipped. It will be sent insured and with a signature required.


                                                                 Wholesale Orders

Wholesale orders placed via email will be shipped between 3-6 weeks of placing the order(possibly sooner if we have the items in stock). All wholesale orders are shipped by USPS First Class mail which takes 2-3 days. Wholesale orders are shipped insured with signature required.

                                                                 Repairs & Alterations

Repairs on JBD jewery are offered with a charge of $30 plus materials and shipping. Alterations usually cannot be done once a piece has been completed. Due to the handmade nature of the work, differences in appearance from images on the website or in store jewelry will occur as no two are exactly alike.                                                             Lost an Earring?

We are sorry, but we no longer make matches for JBD lost earrings. Due to the handmade nature of our designs a match cannot be made. We now recommend buying a new pair and keeping the lone earring as a backup.

                                                               Jewelry Care

Caring for your JBD jewelry takes a little time but will make your purchase last longer! Oxidized jewelry can be easily polished with a special paper(contact the studio to have some sent to you) Jewelry with stones like white topaz, sapphire, ruby and diamond can be cleaned by soaking your piece in window cleaner overnight and gently brushing the stone from underneath the setting in the morning. Rinse in warm water. Store your pieces in ziplock bags when you are not wearing them to keep them from tarnishing. When exercising, cleaning the house or gardening its best to not wear jewelry at all. We hear of all sorts of losses and damage when our customers wear their pieces doing activities like mentioned above. Please do not have your jewelry professionally cleaned-often times this process involves ultrasonic cleaning which can loosen stones from their settings. We do not cover the loss or damage of stones in our jewelry. We do not have the tools necessary to re-cut stones or polish out scratches. Please cover your valuable pieces under a homeowners or renters insurance policy.

If you would like to order a ring(or rings) and you are not sure of your ring size-send us an email with your mailing address and we will pop a ring sizer or 2 in the mail to you at no charge.

Here at JBD we run occasional sales online and in our store. Sale prices are only valid on sale days. If you have purchased an item before a recent sale or after a recent sale we do not offer the sale price for the item. Sale prices are only valid for current on sale items.
